10 McDonalds coupons for free ice cream cones – 3 bids – current price = $2.02
5 McDonalds coupons for chicken premium sandwiches – 7 bids – current price =$9.19
20 McDonalds coupons for free medium coffee – 9 bids – current price = $21.50
The market was definitely there for those with access to free coupons for McDonalds but without the desire or ability to actually eat there themselves.
Who buys them?
I guess the answer to that one is obvious, who else would want to buy McDonalds coupons for discounted salads, coffees and burgers on sites like eBay but those who eat there regularly. I enjoy the odd McDonalds myself, but certainly not often enough to make it a good use of my time to go hunting around online in order to save a buck off my burger, and I’m a fairly thrifty person.
But say I ate at McDonalds several times a week, or perhaps was throwing a children’s party there, then the savings made from purchasing such coupons could result in some very real savings. 10 free hamburger McDonalds coupons selling for just $2.02 is a pretty neat bargain that could take care of my lunch bill for over a week if I was to pop across the road each afternoon for a cheeky snack. Not the healthiest of lunches perhaps, but certainly a cheap one if I found myself short of pennies towards the end of the month. And the same could be said of hosting a children’s party, usually a relatively expensive affair with lots of hungry mouths to feed, but armed with a hand-full of McDonalds coupon books I’m guessing that party could be funded for a fraction of the price.

Who sells them?
The answer was equally obvious, as suggested above it would be those with access to McDonalds coupons who either chose not to eat there through choice or who were unable to due to geographical location (believe it or not there are still places left without a McDonalds).
I regularly receive McDonalds coupon booklets through the post tucked away inside the local free newspapers entitling me to free burgers or free milkshakes, and the bus tickets in my area have had free fast food coupons printed on the back of them for several years past. Occasionally the odd one from the booklet gets used and the rest tossed away, or the booklet in whole gets forgotten about, expires, or gets thrown away outright. But that was before I knew about the potential profits to be made from selling coupons for McDonalds online.
Looking at the pages and pages of McDonalds coupons listed on eBay I imagined a light bulb going off inside the head of the local paper boy as he greedily emptied his entire stack of papers of the coupon booklets hidden inside, and realised that I hadn’t received any coupons in awhile. Surely an enterprising paperboy like that could make more from such ventures than from the delivering of the papers themselves.
Anybody know where you can find free printable McDonalds coupons for 2012?
