Toy Story 3 Lots-O-Huggin’ Bear for Sale

Bitter, twisted, and resentful, Lotso, is a bear that comes with much baggage. And while on the surface such qualities might not appear to make him the ideal childhood companion, behind his thorny visage lies a fragile and broken character, desperately in need of the love that only your child can offer him.

Because while Lotso ultimately plays the villain in the Toy Story 3 movie, he does so due to the hurt in his heart, caused by his belief that he was too quickly replaced by his former owner, after being misplaced, by the little girl he loved second to none.

When Buzz Lightyear, the Potato Heads, and the rest of the gang find themselves donated to the children of ‘Sunnyside Daycare’, they are quickly welcomed in by Lotso and the other toys, and convinced that Sunnyside is a heavenly place, where all toys are played with every single day.  However their dream is swiftly banished, when they realise that the younger children to which they have been assigned innocently torture and abuse the toys in their care, stretching, bending and breaking the helpless toys with the vigour of their play.

And it is when Buzz goes to request transfer for the gang to the older children's room that Lotso’s true nature is made clear. Revealing him to be a mob-boss like kingpin, who rules Sunnyside Daycare with an iron fist, and a horde of trusted henchman.
