Purple Wedding Favor Sweets
What are the best purple candy, sweets and chocolates for filling purple wedding favors for a purple themed wedding? Long gone are the days of wealthy European aristocrats bestowing gifts of sugar cubes upon their wedding guests in days of old. But still the tradition of bride and groom offering small token gifts to their wedding guests’ remains.
Most weddings and receptions are structured around some form of common theme or colour scheme that helps to tie the whole event together and make it that little bit more special, lately I’ve been taking a look at some of the items that are popularly used to fill wedding favors and today at the request of a friend I’ve been instructed to find out which ‘purple’ sweets, candies and/or chocolates would be ideal for filling purple themed wedding favors.
And I've narrowed it down to my two favourites:

A more modern take on the above idea for those not so keen on sugared almonds is the idea of using purple ‘Jelly Belly’ jelly beans instead. Probably the worlds most popular jelly bean and arguably the best flavored Jelly Belly jelly beans are available in more than 50 colours and flavors, with three of the different flavors available being in the color of, you guessed it, purple.

Grape jelly, island punch and plum flavoured jelly belly beans are all purple in colour and as such would all make a much loved and well received filling for purple themed wedding favours.
