With Christmas just around the corner now I thought I’d take a little time to check out the best FREE Christmas games to be found online. And listed below are my five favorite festive picks:

An Army of Grinch's are out to rid Santa of his milk and cookies in this festive take on the highly popular ‘Defendor’ series of games. And your job as a Santa doll, aided by a toy soldier, a gingerbread man, a snowman, and a variety of different weapon types is to hold off the Grinch’s attack, and send them packing. While only ten levels long, Christmas Defense, combines just the right amount of variety, with just the right difficulty level, to make it a highly playable little game for all age levels. While the game-play itself didn’t hold my attention for more than a few attempts, ‘Attack of the Sprouts’ is a great looking fun game that’s sure to raise a smile, as you control the fatherly-type diner in his efforts to keep his Christmas feast sprout free. Slamming down hard with your left and right fists squashing any sprouts that dare to venture too close, Attack of the Sprouts is certainly worth a game or two at Christmas time. As is its sequel, ‘Christmas with the Sproutifarts’, as long as you’re not adverse to a little seasonal toilet humour. Play Here.
