Arguably the greatest superhero of all time, the Incredible Hulk is a character created by “Stan Lee’ and ‘Jack Kirby’, who was unleashed upon the world way back in 1962, in the Marvel comic book ‘The Incredible Hulk #1’. Emotionally unstable and impulsive the Incredible Hulk is the crazed alter-ego of the usually reserved physician ‘Dr. Bruce Banner’, who came into being after the Doctor was exposed to gamma radiation in a laboratory experiment gone wrong. Involuntarily transforming into the Hulk whenever Dr. Bruce Banner becomes angry, this gigantic green muscle-bound monster rages out of control, as the mild mannered Doctor tries his hardest to maintain control over his chaotic emotional state.

Growing stronger as he grows angrier the Incredible Hulk was inspired by the classics ‘Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’ and ‘Frankenstein’, and in addition to anger, Dr. Bruce Banner will also transform into the Hulk if suffering from terror, grief, or other extreme emotions. Yet despite his fearsome visage the Hulk has a soft heart, and is capable of great feats of heroic kindness, as he matches his superhuman strength against the nefarious plans of the villains who confront him.
